Together with Vita-Peptide Intensive Serum 4 Plus, Vita-Antioxidant Defence Crème Plus is the fifth and final step in the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™. It contains the highest concentration of vitamin A, in the form of Retinyl Palmitate as well as vitamin C, antioxidants, peptides plus other scientifically researched ingredients. This advanced combination of ingredients targets the visible signs of aging, taking the look of youthfulness to the next level.

Ingredients

RETINYL PALMITATE (Vitamin A) Vitamin A normalizes the skin cell function, including regulating oil production in the skin cell to help hydrate, increasing skin cell turn over, strengthening the stratum spinosum (the structural layer of the skin) and compacting the stratum cornium (the outermost layer of the skin), which improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture and block out damaging free radicals. Vitamin A is also a free radical scavenger, an ingredient that is especially active in protecting skin cells from these damaging molecules.

ASCORBYL TETRAISOPALMITATE (Vitamin C) a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radials to protect the skin. Aides in the production of youthful collagen by strengthening amino acid chains that keep collagen strong. Influences melanin production resulting in more even distribution and less pigment formation.

TOCOPHERYL ACETATE (Vitamin E) Improves the skin’s natural moisturizIng factors, and nourishes the body skin, making the skin look plumper and firmer. Helps to quench free radicals, enhancing the effects of the skin’s natural sun protectors.

PANTHENOL (PRO-VITAMIN B5) is known to be a highly effective moisturizer, and helps soothe the skin, calming the look of redness. Promotes wound healing, reduces inflammation, reduces trans epidermal water loss, all of which improve skin texture.

SEPICALM™ VG WP (Sodium Palmitoyl Proline) a peptide from the water lily flower that soothes the skin and decreases hyperpigmentation for a bright even tone. When combined with Sepiwhite MSH, which is present in Environ Focus Care Radiance+ Mela-Prep Lotion, you have the ideal combination of ingredients for a perfect lightening program.

MALT SECRETS® (Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Seed Extract) contains ferulic acid, a potent antioxidant, that absorbs the long UV wavelength to help brighten skin. This powerful ingredient also inhibits lipidic peroxidation, which stops free radicals from damaging skin cells and is anti-glycation, improving skin texture. Malt Secrets® is also 100% natural and has been approved by Ecocert Greenlife.

JOJOBA (Simmondsia Chinensis ) SEED OIL an excellent oil for hydration, sealing the skin’s barrier to hold in moisture. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic - it will not cause clogging in the pores. Jojoba contains natural forms of vitamin E - an antioxidant that can neutralize environmental free radicals which damage the skin.

GREEN TEA EXTRACT (Epigallocatechin Gallate) is rich in polyphenols, including catechins. The most abundant and effective catechin in green tea is EGCG, which possess potent antioxidant and skin-soothing, anti-inflammatory properties.

ROSEMARY (Rosmarinus Ofcinalis) LEAF EXTRACT a powerful antioxidant that protects against free radical damage and the effects of environmental stresses on the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and skin toning properties.

Recommended Use

Pre-cleanse, cleanse and tone, if desired. Apply Antioxidant Defence Crème over your recommended Vita-Peptide C-Quence Serums 1-4 Plus, or on top of other serums you may use.
