This purifying, multi-functional charcoal masque, formulated with Japanese charcoal and special botanicals to help absorb pollutant impurities, normalizes and hydrates the skin, leaving it feeling revitalized and smooth.

Our skin’s exposure to Environmental pollutants (vehicle fumes, heavy metals, harmful chemicals, and other pollutants in combination with ultraviolet (UV) blue light and infrared irradiation - a major emerging urban pollutant) is unfortunately on the rise. When these particles come in contact with our skin they create oxidative stress, which results in a destructive chain of free radicals, leading to increased signs of skin sensitivity, premature skin aging, skin discoloration, dryness, dullness, and roughness.

The rising, diverse assault of pollution on skin has led to the innovation of Environ’s intelligent anti-pollution formulations; a complete approach focusing on the benefits of prevention, repair and building of the benefits of the skin’s natural resilience to protect itself.

Ingredients

CHARCOAL POWDER (organic carbon) Is a non-nano, highly porous material with effective absorbing, purifying and detoxifying properties. It is made from Ubame Oak, a very hard wood which grows in Japan. The forestry is regulated by the government to ensure sustainable production.

KAOLIN Naturally occurring clay mineral used for it's absorbant properties.

ACNACIDOL™ (Butylene Glycol + 10-Hydroxydecanoic Acid + Sebacic Acid + 1,10-Decanediol) A unique bio-functional ingredient, and clinically tested Royal Jelly biomimetic, that assists to rebalance and normalize the effects of sebum production.

PHYTOFUSE RENEW® (Anastatica Hierochuntica (Rose of Jericho) Extract) Is a potent antioxidant derived from the resurrection plant, which soothes the skin and provides benefits such as moisturization and protection. This ingredient, which imparts an immediate cooling sensation when applied, simultaneously enhances the benefits of cellular proliferation to aid in healing.

SHEA BUTTER (Butyrospermum Parkii) This rich source of antioxidants, and skin-replenishing fatty acids, is soothing and hydrating to the skin.

JOJOBA OIL Is very similar in composition to the human natural skin oils, it is an excellent moisturizer and is ideal for all skin types without promoting the visible signs of acne or any other skin problems.

Recommended Use

The multifunctional Anti-Pollution Masque is most beneficial when skin feels fragile and looks sensitive due to the harmful effects of free-radical damage (exposure to pollution, smoking, stress, temperature extremes etc.). It is especially suited for urbanized environments to assist in preventing the effects of oxidative stress.

After cleansing, and toning (if desired), apply the masque in an even, moderate layer.

Allow to dry for up to 20 minutes before rinsing with tepid water, massaging in a circular motion to gently polish and purify the look of the skin and follow with your regular skin care routine.

Use up to 2-3 times per week, in the evening.
